Our Personal Data Policy for BILA contains everything you need in order to understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we, as a data controller organisation, use the data for.
1.1. This Personal Data Policy applies to all personal information that you provide and/or we collect about you when you are a customer at BILA or when you visit our website www.bila-automation.com.

2.2. When we process your personal data, we comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Personal Data Regulations, which came into force on May 25, 2018.

2.4. If you want an insight into your personal data or if you believe that incorrect data has been registered – or if you have other objections, then please contact BILA A/S. You have the right to know what information is registered about you, and you can object to a registration in accordance with the regulations in the Act on Processing of Personal Data.
3.1. When you visit our website, we collect information about you, which is used to adapt and improve our content and to increase the value of the advertisements that are shown on the page. If you do not want our website to collect information, you should delete your cookies (for instructions on how to do so, go to http://minecookies.org/cookiehandtering/) and avoid using the website in the future. Below you can see in detail what information is collected, its purpose and which third parties have access to the information.
The website uses “cookies”. A cookie is a text file that is saved on your computer, smartphone or similar digital device for the purpose of recognising it, saving settings, carrying out statistics and providing you with relevant advertisements. Cookies are unable to contain malicious code, for example a cookie cannot contain a virus.

3.4. As stated in point 3.1, we use Google Analytics cookies to provide us with an insight into how visitors use our website. We do not share this data with anyone, and the knowledge that we gain is used solely to improve the website and user experience for you as a visitor. 4.1. If you are a customer, or if you contact us from the website www.bila-automation.com, we collect the following general personal data about you: name, country, mobile phone number and email address.
4.2. Personal data is never given to a third party unless you have expressly permitted it.
4.3. We do not collect special categories of personal data (sensitive information) about you.
5.1. We process only personal data to the extent that is necessary. For example, it may be necessary so that we can meet our obligations in accordance with agreements and associated services. It may also be necessary because as a Danish company, Danish legislation complies us to do so.
5.2. Personal data should be understood as it is defined in the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data.
5.3. We do not carry out profiling of you and do not misuse your personal data. Furthermore, we do not disclose your personal data without your consent, unless we are obligated to do so in pursuance of applicable legislation.
5.4. If you are a customer, we use your personal data to:
• Send order confirmations, passwords and user instructions to you
• Provide you with customer service, support, answer your questions and comply with your requests
• Execute your orders and supply our services
• Manage the administration of the customer relationship for you
• Send email notifications about new opportunities, products, prices, system updates, downtimes, etc.
6.1. We may share your personal data with the suppliers and partners who help us to execute your orders, or who help us with our IT operations, hosting, SMS gateway, etc. This means that for example, we may share your personal data with our service suppliers, our technical support and our bank.
6.1.2. We share your information to the extent that we are obligated to as a result of reporting requirements to the public authorities, such as SKAT (the Danish tax authority).
7.1. As the data controller, we do not share personal data with recipients outside of the EU/EEA.
8.1. According to the Act on Processing of Personal Data, your personal data must be stored securely and confidentially. We save your personal data on computers that have limited access, and which are housed in our controlled facilities. Our security measures are checked on an ongoing basis to ensure that our user information is handled responsibly and at all times in consideration of your rights as a user. However, we cannot guarantee 100 % security with the transfer of data over the internet. This means that there may be a (limited) risk that other parties illegally gain access to information when data is transmitted and saved electronically. You therefore submit your personal information at your own risk.
8.2. Personal data is deleted or anonymised on an ongoing basis as the purpose for which it was collected comes to an end. Personal data is saved for a maximum of 12 months after the purpose has ended.
8.3. Due to the rapid nature of internet development, it may prove necessary that we make changes to the way we process personal data. We therefore reserve the right to update and amend this Personal Data Policy for the processing of personal data. Should we do so, then we will of course change the date under point 9 “last updated on" at the bottom of the page. In the case of significant changes, we will inform you by publishing a visible notification on our website.
8.4. To the extent that personal data about you is processed, in accordance with the Act on Processing of Personal Data, you are entitled to be informed about what personal data is attributable to you. If the information or data that is processed about you is incorrect or misleading, you are entitled to require that it be corrected, deleted or blocked. You can at any time object to information about you being processed. You can at any time withdraw your consent. You also have the right to complain about the processing of information and data that concerns you. Complaints must be submitted to the Danish Data Protection Agency, cf. the Act on Processing of Personal Data, Section 58, Para 1.
